"A great last US Zoo TV show with Bono really showing his potential in all songs. He was on fire and improvised a lot. One of the best versions of With Or Without You ever."

24 years ago U2 played Anaheim for the Zoo TV tour to conclude the Outside Broadcast US leg of the tour, a great show to celebrate this months' 25th anniversary of Achtung Baby. Same as this November, this show took place in the month of the US presidential elections, an opportunity for Bono to put a call in to the White House, saying that "I'll be bothering Bill Clinton now". Bono's voice is amazing this show which is particularly demonstrated during With Or Without You, with one of the best renditions of this song on Zoo TV.
"It's not easy for me to stand up in front of 50.000 people. It's not my natural habitat. I think it's probably easy for Bono. But I can do it. And I will do it if I know the songs are great."
- Adam Clayton, 2009
In 1999, a bag holding personal papers and a laptop computer containing lyrics for the ATYCLB album was taken from Bono's car. Bono offered a reward of £2,000 for the return of the computer. An Irish man returned the laptop after having bought it for £300 thinking it was from a reputable source. He realised it was Bono's when he saw a picture of the singer's child Elijah Bob on the screen, prompting him to contact U2's management.
